Epirus region is located in the north-west part of Greece, between the mountain range of Pindos and the Ionian Sea. Epirus landscape combines impressive mountains and a unique seaside scenery.

The entire area is characterized by mountains and rivers which are traversed by wonderful arched bridges. Fertile plains and valleys interrupt the mountain flows from north to south. Climate of the coastline is moderate, while in the interior is harsh, with heavy winters, frequent frost and rainstorms.

The climate of Epirus is ideal for growing herbs, which are to be found in nature, flourishing on mountain slopes and green meadows, where they grow naturally.

When walking through the beautiful countryside of Epirus it is common to see plenty of Greek herbs, which provide the air with an aura unique to the area.

The herbs found in Epirus today, are exactly the same herbs gathered thousands of years ago in Ancient Greece, and their main uses have remained unchanged.
